Research Team Identified the Remains of Renowned Spanish Sculptor

Thanks to support from a team of scientists and researchers from the School of Medicine, University Completeness of Madrid, was able to identify what would be the remnants of the Baroque sculptor Francisco Laszlo, who died in the year 1783.
The research that led to the important discovery began in October of 2007, as part of the project “Murcia which was” that seeks to identify and preserve the heritage of the city.
The first step given was the study of the remains found at the Convent de lass Madres Capuchins Murcia. In total we found the remains of about 30 people, of which only 8 were male.
Searching for a more thorough analysis, the remains were taken to the School of Medicine, University Completeness of Madrid, specifically the area of forensic anthropology.
After the DNA analysis and other studies were able to establish almost sure of the characteristics of each body with respect to age, sex and characteristics of each. So, the analysis focused on the remains that had the approximate age of Laszlo at the time of death, ie 75 years.
It also took into account the date of death of Laszlo, which occurred about 200 years ago.
Was based on all these factors that could identify the remains of Laszlo, after which the official report was issued with the outstanding research results.
